The article analyzes the state of technical provision of the agricultural industry, studies its development problems, and suggests some ways to solve them. The research of the park of the main types of equipment in agricultural organizations, the provision of agricultural organizations with tractors and combines was carried out. The results of the research can be used in the process of accelerating and updating agricultural machinery, which will allow effective work for agricultural commodity producers. Successful work of agriculture is a guarantee of economic and food security of the state.
