Abstract The article emphasizes the importance of the sphere of agricultural production today as a priority direction for the development of the entire national economy. The relevance of the topic lies in the fact that agricultural production is quite a promising direction, which allows to invest in the development of some sectors of the national economy with the possibility of obtaining the greatest economic benefit. The research problem lies in the fact that this area is unstable and susceptible to many types of risk. Priority sectors in the field of agricultural production are livestock and plant growing. The subject of the research is the mechanism of formation of the strategy of funding the agroindustrial complex. The goal of the study is the development of the mechanism of realization of the strategy of funding the sphere of agricultural production. Methodology. To conduct the study there were used the methods of economic and mathematical analysis, comparisons, and many other methods. Results. The article considers the State Financing Program for agriculture for 2013-2020. The authors propose a scheme of state support of the agroindustrial complex. The mechanism of implementation of the strategy of state financing, which is a complex of interrelated measures aimed at solving the most important current and future challenges in the field of agriculture. It is the implementation of these measures that will allow to build an innovative economy in the field of agriculture. The article draws conclusions on the expediency of implementing the proposed recommendationsthe in the development of some sectors of the national economy with the possibility of obtaining the greatest economic benefit.
