The work is devoted to the analysis of the impact of investments in fixed capital on the gross regional product of Russia, the Central Federal District and the Belgorod region in 2007-2017. The degree of dependence between the indicators is established. The most adequate and reliable model for forecasting GRP by means of investments in fixed capital is defined.
