The relevance of the work is justified by the need to increase the investment attractiveness of the region during the economic crisis in order to attract potential investors, and, as a result, additional sources of financing for industrial activities. The article discusses the features of socio-economic development of the Belgorod region, the industry orientation and level of industry in the region. Foreign experience of creating investment industrial territories and opportunities for developing industrial parks within the region is analyzed. The experience and features of functioning of industrial parks of the Belgorod region in comparison with other subjects of the Central Chernozem region are studied. Using the example of the Belgorod region, the positive effect and problems of creating industrial parks, changes in the economy due to diversification, and conclusions about the effectiveness of implementing industrial Park projects in order to increase the investment attractiveness of the region are considered.
