The concept of the company&amp;#39;s key business competencies can help solve these problems.
It is designed to determine, correctly form the process of development and management of the required competitive advantages, which are precisely created when using key business competencies. As a result, this will enable the company to generate additional consumer value of its products in the form of unique goods (services), high quality, high service and additional opportunities for customers. The article presents the theoretical foundations of the concept of &amp;quot;key competencies&amp;quot;, based on the historical and evolutionary aspect of the development of scientific thought. The structure of the key business competencies of the enterprise is also presented, their content is
described. At the moment, there is no clear algorithm, methodology for assessing the competence of an enterprise, taking into account its existing key competencies. We provide a methodology for such an assessment with the identification of the level of competence of the enterprise based on the method of expert assessments. The developed methodology has been tested on the example of the Agro-industrial holding &amp;laquo;Green Valley&amp;raquo; (Belgorod). The methodological basis of the research is the methods of theoretical generalization,
