The article considers the measures of state support for agricultural producers, where the characteristics of the elements of the financial mechanism are revealed. The factors and features influencing the reproduction of the agro-industrial complex are formulated, as well as the manifestations of the sectoral features of the financial mechanism in agricultural production are listed. The author pays great attention to the most effective tools, unified forms and methods of support that take into account the principles of preferential lending, reduction of the tax base, various cost compensations that affect the creation and modernization of agricultural facilities in modern conditions. During the analysis of the study, statistical data were used, which allowed us to conclude that with the help of state support, such goals as the development of economic growth of agricultural production, solving the food security of the state, increasing the contribution of the agricultural sector to the Russian economy can be achieved.
