The prospects for this mechanism usage for the development of the territorial-local affordable housing market in Russia, in general, and in Belgorod Region, in particular, have been studied. The attractiveness of investments in the commercial apartment buildings construction from the institutional investor&amp;rsquo;s perspective has been shown.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article deals with the analysis of the commercial apartment buildings mechanism as the most effective and widely used in the West.
