The subject of the article is the economic security of industrial production in the subject of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the article is to develop measures based on strategic planning documents aimed at improving the economic security of industry in the Russian Federation. The research methodology was based on the principles of dialectical objectivity, positive and normative approaches, a systematic approach, and logical analysis. Research results: the role and necessity of a new quality of industrial policy to ensure the economic security of the region are revealed; The directions of creating favorable conditions for the development of industrial production in the Khabarovsk Territory have been formed, the priorities of industrial development and the optimal scenario for the development of industry have been identified. Modernization of industrial production in the Khabarovsk Territory, the creation of a new innovative industrial production, the implementation of new educational formats based on the search for talented youth and their involvement in technological and business processes, is ensuring the economic security of the region.
