Therefore, the purpose of the article was to analyze the problems and features of the implementation of the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2030 with a forecast until 2035. During the analysis of the achievement of the targets of the Transport Strategy implemented until 2021, it was found that most of them have not been achieved. The main reasons for this were changes in external political and economic conditions, as well as insufficient funding. In the new edition of the strategy, the directions of development of transport systems were changed: emphasis was placed on trade with Asian countries, as well as on the development of interregional and external connectivity of the economic space.
