RISKS OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF REGIONAL ECONOMIC SYSTEMS AND DIRECTIONS FOR THEIR REGULATION
The article analyzes the risks of digital transformation that regional economic systems face at the present stage of their development. These risks are largely related to the realities of the new Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the necessary changes in the economic and institutional subsystems of the functioning of the national economy. Analysis of indicators characterizing the level and dynamics of changes in meso-level subsystems (subjects of the Russian Federation) and the national economy as a whole made it possible to identify problems and risks of regional development and develop directions for leveling and resolving them in the near future. Among the risks of regional development in the above conditions, the following were identified: technological, staffing, institutional, operational, financial, market and socio-economic. Developing ways to reduce development risks in the current conditions will allow optimizing the functioning of economic mechanisms of systems at all (primarily meso- and macro-) levels.
