Risks of implementing RPA technology at a knowledge-based enterprise
The article discusses the problems that businesses may encounter when implement-ing solutions based on robotic process automation (RPA) technology. The technolo-gy described in the article can be useful for both small and large businesses in the sector of banking, financial services, as well as in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, retail and IT-technologies. The author presents a description of RPA technology, the main problems of implementing RPA technology, risk classification and methods for assessing them. This technology is aimed at automating processes without changing existing applicationsand replacing them, as well as at reducing costs. In this robot-controlled process automation, software robots take on the roles and tasks of users and interact with other software systems.
