The role and significance of financial literacy
of the population for effective development of the Russian economy on the example of the Republic of Bashkortostan
The study revealed theoretical some aspects of the concept of financial literacy, its place and role in human functional literacy. An analysis of the federal and regional legislative framework in the field of financial literacy development of Russia is given. The level and current trends in financial literacy was identified. A sociological survey of young people on the level of financial literacy was implemented. Existing problems and shortcomings were identified. Recommendations were made to improve the effectiveness of financial literacy activities.
