Spatial and temporal analysis of digitalization processes in Russian regions
Based on statistics from the Russian Federal State Statistics Service, the article provides a spatial analysis of two components of the informatization process — computerization and Internetization – for all regions of Russia. For these two components of the Internetization process, trend diagnostic charts were constructed, which allowed to identify the leading regions, catching up regions, regions losing digitalization potential and outsider regions. Calculations have shown a prevalence of the latter two types of regions. The effect of slowing of the informatization process is registered in almost all regions in recent years, which requires a separate study.
