PECULIARITIES OF THE FOOD INDUSTRY  OF AZERBAJAN AND THE POSSIBILITIES OF THEIR EXPANSION

The food industry is a vital area that has a direct impact on the economies of different countries. Using the example of the Republic of Azerbajan, the dynamics of the foodindustry and the possibilities of their expansion are analyzed, which reflects a wide variety and mass production of industrial enterprises, confirms the need to form the material and technical base of food production to the level of world standards, which will be a necessary condition for increasing the national competitiveness of the economy. It has been proved that the competitiveness of manufactured products is low, mainly due to a lack of professional staff, low investment attractiveness, weak financing institutions, and insufficient government support. Therefore, it is advisable to form an agrarian policy that will ensure specialization in this area. There are rich potential opportunities for this in the country.
