THE SYSTEM OF ENSURING THE ECONOMIC STABILITY OF THE REGION AND THE SPECIFICS OF ITS DEVELOPMENT
The development and implementation of a system for ensuring the economic stability of the region is logical and relevant in modern management of the regional economy due to the qualitative improvement of the regional economic system (improving performance indicators). The system of ensuring the sustainable development of the region makes it possible to identify the most priority and relevant areas of its socio-economic development. The purpose of the study is to determine the essence and approaches to the formation of a system for ensuring the economic sustainability of the region's development. The condition for the effectiveness of the process of ensuring the economic stability of the region is the formation of an appropriate system as a single purposeful aggregate: subjects, object, purpose, objectives, principles, methodology, tools, measures. The main results of the functioning of the system for ensuring the economic stability of the region are: self-sufficiency and sustainable economic development; an increase in resource potential, including intellectual and labor potential; the realization of the economic interests of the economic entities of the region, reducing the negative impact of external factors; improving the quality of life of the population through the development of investment and innovation activities, development, which in turn ensures progressive qualitative improvement of all elements of the system. An adequate assessment of the level of stability of the regional economic system is of particular importance. It is rational to use the "quality of life of the population" as a target indicator for the development and sustainability of the regional economic system.
