EURASIAN UTILITY MODEL AS AN ELEMENT OF ECONOMIC SECURITY
The article explores the role of the Eurasian utility model as an element of the economic security system of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). It examines the features of legal protection of utility models in the EAEU member states and analyzes the differences in national mechanisms for registering and protecting industrial property rights. Based on a comparative legal, institutional, and systemic approach, the article identifies existing problems in harmonizing legislation on the protection of utility models, which have an impact on the innovative development and technological security of the EAEU member states. Special attention is paid to threats to economic security related to industrial espionage, unfair competition, illegal use of the results of intellectual activity, and the impact of sanctions on national economies. An analysis of foreign experience in protecting intellectual property and international practices for regulating innovation is conducted.
